This is a first for me. I've had Mozilla on this computer for close to a year and have never had a single one. Now I've been getting pop ups for the University of Phoenix Online whenever I open a yahoo or myway news page. I ran ad-aware and came up empty. I'm not really concerned about one pop up, but I don't want it to become a bigger nusance. Ideas?

check if you put yahoo on your 'allow popups' list

was it a separate window, or one of those flash popups?

I checked my list and there is nothing on it. It was in a new window.

MyWay wouldn't be generating a popup, so I tend to think that this must be coming from some kind of adware.

I tried some different things and found that it only happens when I click on a yahoo or myway link from drudgereport.com (a pop-up monster on IE). Maybe it's just bombarding Mozilla so fast it can't keep up.

Have had these problems with Mozilla....now I've also had to stop running it altogether because after awhile certain pop ups that are being blocked just lock up my computer.
