Seems to me that Paul is now ESPN's "racing voice", whatever racing it may be. No knowledge required. He does snowmobiles too now, and how much do you think he knows about that? In retrospect, how much did he know about CART? Ahhh... more than about boats, I'm sure.

Bob Varsha spent some time as "ESPN's Voice of Whatever Needs a Voice" too. Off hand, I don't remember all the stuff he did, but he did quite a bit.
