What's a Helio? (http://66.223.17.243/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=024142)

Helio Castro Neves the three-named "Brazilianaire" and one-time symbol of everything wrong with open wheel racing in America, is now the hero of Gomers from both North and South.

It was a brilliantly instinctive move by a brilliant race car driver.

Forget Fangio, forget Moss, forget Schumacher. They've got a Helio.

:shakehead :gomer:

Well yeah - but now that he won the IRL500 a lot of people in Marion county can pronounce his name wrong.

In Brock Yates latest "Notes from the Margin" it is clear that he has learned to pronounce Castroneves and no longer thinks of him as a jabbering fence climbing simian.

He does seem overly concerned, though, that fans won't relate to fast guys from foriegn countries the way they do to fast guys from Miami. ;)
