Since I have not been to all of the tracks ChampCar runs at, What track feature, be it a straigntway or a turn has the greatest change in elevation?

Probably the corkscrew at Laguna would be high up on that list, RA may have some that are a bit more though.

I would think the Corkscrew. Anyone know the total elevation change up the front straight at Road America?

That would be around 40-50'. The corkscrew drops about 140" in total.

This shows a rise of 110' from T14 to S/F. The greatest change, as you would expect, is Canada Corner (900') to S/f/ (1060').

Canada Corner to start-finish is a pretty good climb, but I think it is less drastic than Laguna turn 6 up to the Corkscrew and back down to turn 10. At least it seems that way. That section of Laguna is some of the best track in the US, imo. Watching them come through 6 from the hill - with that camber change, guys are always having trouble putting wheels off (if not cars). Then cresting the hill, winding down the Corkscrew... and pulling good G's into 9 as they come down the hill under the bridge. Ahhh... not long before we're seeing that again.
