I agree - the walrus tusks were "interesting" though not "attractive". F1 shouldn't be filled with previous year Ferrari look-alikes. Ferrari progresses and others need to endeavor to get ahead of the curve. I. for one, applaud Williams for trying something new and different. I also applaud them for not sticking with it if doesn't work. Can't stay married to your mistakes (as it were).

I give them credit for trying.

But it obviously didn't work well enough. I'm just suprised that they did not figure that out before the season in the wind tunnel.

But who knows if the "traditional" nose will fix all the car problems. I doubt it.

Yep... Give 'em credit for trying the radical change. I wonder how many design changes the Wright brothers went through before they designed an airplane that flew.

Perhaps a disappointing season can be salvaged now? Time will tell. I hope it can.

Stop the Red Tide!!!!

I reckon this is the season race fans will see the benefits of Williams gazillion dollar wind tunnel, Twin keels whatever... Watch Webbo in a decent car...

I'm thinking Antonia Terzi is looking for a job right about now.

Give them credit for taking a flyer on a design others had discarded but I doubt cobbling a standard nose on to a platform designed from the start with the twin keel in mind will help much.

Making major changes during the testing ban is a pretty desperate move but with a no-hope season winding down and both drivers on the way out the door I suppose it was as good a time as any.

Fisi is awesome - I think he can be a true championship contender in the Renault if it is anywhere near as good as this year's car!
