First thoughts with the session is half over......

- fastest lap so far is Vasser at a 1:03.090. pole time last year was Tracy at a 1:00.926

- looks like leaseplan is off the gidley car.... something is on the sidepods in small writing.... possibly Air Force Reserve, Gidley's sponsor on his Touring Car.

- only 9 cars have actually taken times.... all 18 cars have been out on track though.

- Mazzacane twice has used the runoffs

Yes - supposed to be the standard AFR logo/font: "AIR FORCE" in large capital letters on one line, then "RESERVE" in slightly smaller letters below, then "www.afreserve.com" in smaller Arial letters below that in blue. This is supposed to take up nearly the entire height of the sidepod...

Memo Gidley takes the #17 Air Force Reserve car on track. He was 8th quick in this morning's practice session.

I've seen a pan shot and the sidepod logos are in fact as they were designed. However the wings are blank, which isn't by design... :confused:
