OK, not exactly a Champ Car topic, but in light of the Herdez news, one wonders what impact might occur (if any) on the auto racing sponsorships for Coors and Molson. Just food for thought....

The planet will collapse into a black hole from which no sponsorship can ever escape. Not sure what good this kind of random speculation does.

Impact? There will be one very big company brewing *****ty beer instead of two medium sized companies brewing *****ty beer. They should have even more money to sponsor racecars

not surprising. Coors already owns a piece of the Molson-USA subsidiary.

I haven't had a Canadian beer since Bob and Ted had everyone drinking it and saying "took". Do they still import it?

Hehehe... when you are at a race track, camping on the cheap, you drink beer. Mule, donkey, horse, cow, camel, llama, elephant, hippopotahoweverthehellyouspellitmus, and even, (hang on to them now...) monkey piss!!

nancy boys and fancy beers

any track beer is better than any beer away from a track.

Molson Coors Brewing Company is born.

Merger is a go (http://www.cbc.ca/story/business/national/2004/07/22/molsonmerger_040722.html)

- What happens to the Molson Indys?
- Do we still get those Canadian commercials that insult Americans? ;)

Molson's chariman is still top dog, and I doubt they woul want to lose the brand recognition on the race by losing that name, so I bet we are fine here... if not even in a better position.
