Yes, indeed! Sounds like da Matta had a good time there, along with the crowds. From the Toyota F1 newsletter:

Cristiano put his disappointing result behind him to join the fun in London on Tuesday at the noisiest street party ever hosted in the British capital. He was at the wheel of last year's TF103 in a parade of Formula 1 cars blasting up the famous Regent Street in the heart of the West End district. He followed one of Britain's best-loved drivers Nigel Mansell, the 1992 world champion, who was back in the cockpit of a Formula 1 car for the first time in a decade. Mansell borrowed a Jordan for the occasion. Also taking part were Ferrari, BAR-Honda, Minardi, Williams, McLaren and Jaguar. Tens of thousands of spectators crowded the pavements and leaned out of the windows of shops and offices along the route as Formula 1 cars hit the streets of London for the first time ever. Cristiano said, "I was amazed by the number of people who turned out to see the cars. Because the crowds were so close we weren't able to go really fast, but it was a very special event."

If you've ever walked Regent Street, you can only imagine the sound that those cars must have created with those high buildings on either side - that shot of Montoya's car with the buildings in the background gives a good impression of the way the sound would have funneled through there. There must have been a lot of rattled windows and car alarms going off!

Seeing the pic of ole Nige would make me beleive that if he was to get back in the cockpit whichever team he signs for would have to make a widebody of Airbus A300 proportions.....
