I'm thinking about going - well, ok, it's more budgeting than thinking. Can you camp at the track? If so, showers? :gomer:

Yes, there is camping (with showers) at Laguna Seca; you can read all about it at:

I haven't camped there myself, but a couple of my friends have (including someone from this forum; maybe he'll speak up). I have seen the campsites, though, and they are pretty nice.

BTW, it's spelled Monterey. :)

I'll be there flagging again, and probably camping (though Worker Camping is down the hill at the pistol range, aka Frog Pond) - it's a spectacular racing weekend especially with Historic Grand Prix again.

Thanks for the links - I had a look at the site, but I was getting overwhelmed with different ways to spend money in town, which is something I'm trying to avoid on this trip! :)
