My sister had anorexia. It was a very tough time for our family. Here's hoping she overcomes it.

Kinda' strange it is only one of them. Hope this means the other is OK, not in denial.

They're both built very slightly, but one has always looked more gaunt than the other. I struggled mightliy with anorexia in high school. At my worst, I'd have a glass of milk for breakfast, diet Coke and a candy for lunch, and skip supper entirely if my mom wasn't home. I was exercising 2+ hours a day, and working at a job where I was on my feet for 8 hours. Ended up nearly unable to move, I was so weak; it probably contributed to some reproductive system problems that plagued me until my early twenties.

I had a relapse when I was expecting my first baby...the 'forced' weight gain nearly gave me a nervous breakdown. Thankfully, a gifted counsellor in Brandon walked me through the worst of it. I've never been as sick as I was, but the mindset never completely leaves. It's always a fine line between eating and exercising to maintain a healthy body weight, and becoming obsessed all over again. Especially now that I've had four kids, and have a very different body than I once did...
