I did RA 3 years ago and have tried to get back every since. However, my family couldn't be less interested so, I am seeing if there would be anybody that would want to make the roadtrip from hell and camp at RA this year.

Leave on Wed./Thurs., get back on Monday if we tag team the driving.

Hey I did that drive from Houston to RA to see Jim Hall's Chaparrals. Started Friday afternoon and got there Saturday afternoon. Key learnings: stop when you start hallucinating, and go through Rockford, Il., not Chicago. Good Luck!

Already got airline reservations. Continental to Milwaukee isn't very expensive.

I have a truck so, if he arrives with that "windblown" look, you'll know that he got on my nerves. :D

Sounds tempting T7 but my leash doesn't extend quite that far yet!! We just had an addition to the family on April 23rd. New baby boy.


I am going to try to sneak in a few fishing trips next month now that the "newness" is starting to wear off!

use www.photobucket.com Very easy to use, always works and they even provide the [img] code under the photo for easy cut and paste into forums.

oh yeah, its free.

I might be down depending on how much $ I've recklessly pissed away by then and if they'll let me off that soon after starting. Also Depends if you like having one of those austin poofster hippies who swept Rice for the season along for the ride though ;)

RA is going to be the biggest gathering this year. We have people flying in from Europe also.. You have to to go dude..

Same impetus as my first Montreal trip, it might be gone (the turbos in that case), so might as well go.
