WB doesn't allow political posts here. WickerBill's welcome (http://www.offcamber.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1863)

Fine. If the whole "CART/OWRS vs. IRL" argument is not political then I don't know what is - but that particular political argument is OK.

The Delaney Meister will not be back. Enjoy.

Very sad to hear the news ... truly one of the giants of the 1980s.

And I can't help but wonder exactly what we're missing when somebody who calls himself "The Delany Meister" refuses to stick around and grace us with his presence.

So long, rube ...

I cannot imagine what the family has gone through the last 10 years. :(

Unfortunately I knew this day would be here soon, but that doesn't make it any easier.

A great American and I think former Pres. Clinton said it best, "an American original.

Godspeed Mr. President.

The first vote I ever cast was for him. I didn't always agree with him or some of his policies, but even in disagreement, he could spin you like no other. Easily the wittiest President we've had in my lifetime.

God bless him and his family.

Rest In Peace, Mr. President. My family lives in a safer world with a brighter future thanks to your efforts, and we are eternally grateful.

Godspeed, Mr. President.

My first political election to vote in, as well, and as a young college student, it felt great to become part of the system.

Clearly a great negotiator, and amazing to see footage of him doing all of the things he did, especially at his age...

A giant, gutsy leader was lost., He stood up the Soviet empire and challenged them out of existence.

A real loss. But I'm hoping (the real) M. Delaney reconsiders.
