As they did this morning, each group will run for an hour with a half hour down time between groups.
If the Mendoza Line is still set at 53 seconds, Speedy Gonzalez still has some work to do.
Lemarie and Lavin are making serious runs at breaking the Mendoza Line.
Camathias is practicing for the Hard Charger Award competition with Gonzalez.
Everyone in this group has broken the Mendoza Line at 53 seconds.
Time to raise the bar a bit?

I'd raise it all the way up to 52.
Most drivers have been able to sneak under that bar. Any serious contender wouldn't be more than a second off the pace. 52 seconds gives them that, and a little more.

Meanwhile in the next group Bruno Junqueira is pacing things in the high 50s and Michel Jourdain is hanging right with him!
The top eight in group 2 are within .9 sec of each other. Looks like the gap's closing.:cool:
