even though greatly diminished in importance, i cannot see another reason why they WOULDN'T run a show promo for that race. i don't really think that the corporate tintops would let them be at the 600 (which i bet they were really after) and we aren't racing that weekend.

i wouldn't give the show much credibility anyway. they called the kentucky derby one of the 10 things a man should do. hate to break it to you, but this native louisvillian says the only thing a person should experience at the derby is the infield (no i have no previous experience to confirm that).

I didn't see the show, but I don't think it could "hurt", so to speak. It's an OW race car, and the average Spike viewer might not know the difference yet. Could be a good thing in the long run.
