Time to comment/rate the liveries:

Forsythe:
PT and PC - nice paint scheme...i have a bit of a hard time believing Players is not somehow involved. A-

RL - same geometric scheme as the other cars, but given the really cool paint scheme of the Corona car last year, this year's is a bit of a let down. B-

Walker:
MH - looks like the old valvoline cars from few years back. Walker seems to have nice schemes. A

Rocketsports:
AT - nice blue colour. I miss the orange though. B+

NP - ok i guess. looks like they can do more. B-

RuSport:
MJ - colourful car. Not sure if anyone can relate but it looks like a bag of Milano Biscuits. B

AA - well, at least you wont confuse it with any other car. looks like a Coyne car from last year. C-

Conquest:
AS, JW - classy. B

PKV:
RG, JV - thumbs up. B

Herdez:
i was never fond of the blue/green mix. B-

Newman/Haas:
SB: I like the Tasman McD's paint scheme from a few years back better than this one. B

BJ: better than last year B

Dale Coyne:
TM: i like it actually. a classy look. B

OS: another nice looking car. I like the black better than the yellow. B+

not sure on the liveries. right now i just check the sidepods (reynard vs. lola)

The Mi-Jack cars are hard to tell apart and Sea Bass's Mikki D's livery looks too much like the Mi-Jack from afar.

AJ's gotta get something going on that car. Way too bland.

I like the Walker livery again.

The Forsythe pair add some continuity even though Players isn't on the side.

I still like the Corona car even though we'll only see it at the Mexican races and early on when half of it is stuck in a tire barrier.

Tags car is missing something. Needs a more dramatic look.

MJ's car is alright.

All in all, not that many liveries that pop out atchya.

Philippe / B

PKV
Vasser & Gonzalez / A / flashy and elegant at the same time

Forsythe
Tracy & Carpentier / A- /I like the colors, but I miss the Player's blue as the dominant color
Lavin / B / Nice, but I liked his Walker car a lot better

Walker
Haberfeld / A- / Still looks great

Coyne
Servia / A- / Looks great. We've needed a black car for some time now
Marques / C+ / Doesn't do much for me

Herdez
Dominguez & RHR / B / I normally don't like green race cars, but these aren't too bad

RuSport
Jourdain / B / I like the angled design
Allmendinger / C- / Can't wait for a sponsor

Conquest
Wilson & Sperafico / B- / I like the design a lot more than the color combo

Newman-Haas
Junquiera / B- / Looks pretty good from the side at least
Bourdais / C+ / The red sidepods are a HUGE improvement. Would have been a C- or even a D+ with the Golden Arches on white.

You'd think the one plus of a lack of sponsors would be the ability to apply the paint and colour scheme of your choice - but, I'm wondering if some teams are opting more to showcase their plight than a beautiful car.

The PKV looks good in part because it has some sponsorship, as does the Newman-Haas and Herdez cars. The rest have a long way to go before they can show off both their artistic and financial abilities...
