Was looking for some computer info today and instead happened across an article about the Bugatti Veyron which uses a Champ Car for comparison. Thought you all might enjoy the article too:

"Look at a Champ car and consider how radical its appearance is compared to a passenger car. Consider also that a Champ car does not go much faster than the Veyron. The Veyron probably approaches the outer limits of the passenger car envelope, and we are unlikely to see much beyond the Veyron in terms of performance. "
One of the team owners or drivers needs to get one of these and use it as a pace car. Come on, they are only $1 Million! :)
Hmmm, a 1,000 horse power, 4 turbo-charger, 16 cylinder engine... A Champ Car fan's "Dream Engine"! :laugh:
Maybe someone with tons of money would race them in ALMS?
