Can anybody out in Offcamber land give me a review of these tires?

I am considering them for a Volvo S70 and the Firestone dealer is pushing them by saying that they are a very good moderately priced tire and the they are comparabel to the RE950's with improved snow traction (like I need that in Houston). It is a new tread design and tirerack.com doesn't have a review yet.

Thanks for any input.

Sorry for the delayed response...

I just put a set of G009's on my 2000 Accord a couple about a month ago.

I think they are a little softer riding than the RE950's they replaced. The handling is about the same (well about as good as it gets on a stock Accord EX) and they are a whole lot quieter in "spirited" :D driving.

I think the steering was a tad bit more precise with the RE950's, but the G009's are definitely better in every way than the OEM Michelins.
