Well, sort of. I finally hooked up my new scanner's film/slide adapter and thought I'd finally scan my slides from the 95 LBGP. They're nothing spectacular. This was only my second LBGP but my first time taking pictures there so I hadn't yet figured out where to get decent pictures without shooting through two chain link fences. Now I know the only way to get primo shots is to buy a Super Photo Ticket at LB... or go to Laguna Seca. Anyway...

Thanks a bunch!! :) Some great memories there...

I have to say, it's a little sad too when you look at what open-wheel racing once was... Many cars and all with big-name sponsors paying big bucks to have their logos on the cars.

Thanks Dave! Here are a few more corrections:

The second car in photo 6 is Sullivan, not Vasser.

Photo 8: Yes, it is Christian.

Photo 17: Isn't that 19 instead of 11? That would make it Bachelart, not Boesel.

The green and yellow car (in photos 15 and 19 - the Penske in photo 19 is Emmo) is indeed Christian Fittipaldi in the 2nd Walker Racing car. That car was painted to look like the Brazillian flag when viewed from above - pretty cool!

You also correctly identified Ribeiro in photo #20.

Rob, JT and JB: thanks for the help in ID'ing some of these cars.

I scanned and archived another roll's worth of pics to a Hewlett Packard optical disk back in 95. If I can ever get the images transferred to a CDR I'll upload those too.

Ain't nothing more satisfying than a sharp, well exposed chrome.

Good job, Dave99!
