In at Monterey. And there's an american driver, and his name is not Lazier, thankfully. You'll be very happy at who is driving.

I'm as shocked as anyone...but its a done deal.

It's Valiente.

From the Vancouver Sun:
Valiante "From what I've talked to them about, I'm No1 on their (Hemelgarn) list.

So who is paying this bill? I thought Hemelgarn was a whore to the highest bidder, ok any paying customer, and a true EARL homeboy.

Supposedly there is a sponsor. I know - amazing! Anyway - it's the sponsor that's the hold up right now. They are coming for sure, but weren;t ready - timing of something...

I read an article about 2 years ago when Pimpski announced they'd go twirling, Hemelgarn was talking about the escalating costs of the earl and stated that if it got too expensive and Champcars was a cheaper alternative, he'd go to Champcars.

That said, I'm suggesting his new team be thoroughly schooled in the correct CCWS way to refuel a burning car. :gomer:

I wonder if there would be anything else motivating him to run a champcar?
