Tora Takagi is going to kick arse this year in IRL. Nunn is getting all the development pieces from Toyota and they are getting crazy horsepower. At Homestead testing, Tora was getting so much straight-line speed he had to lift for the corners, the only car doing so.

Him taking the championship would be funny. Does he even speak English?

When he first came to CART 2 years ago, he needed an interpreter. Maybe he's improved greatly since then.

Maybe the championship will go down to the wire with Shigiaki Hatori.

Tora is Toyota's baby. He gets first dibs on the goodie parts.

It's the IRL. Of course Tora will dominate. He's a short track guy from the middle of Indiana. The IRL is easy for those type of guys.

I'll find out for sure, but that was the way I understood it.

It would seem that Toyota would want as many chances as possible to win.

But, if they've only got enough "go fast parts" for one car, its their boy who gets them. Thats just how they work.

It sure seems like they would have enough for both. Doesn't it?

Toyota wants as many chances as possible for Tora to win.

Remember, this is development stuff. It's not made in mass quantities. Also, they want to have a non-development car that they can directly compare.

So far in 2 days of testing Giaffone has been much faster than Tora.

I don't know if God Himself could hustle Tora around Phoenix if Mo Nunn can't.

Maybe Toyota should insert a new development piece between the steering wheel & seat... might be cheaper than special parts for Tora.
