OWRS and SCCA?

Should OWRS form an alliance with SCCA? Perhaps SCCA can provide support races for OWRS...I was thinking of having OWRS being the 'main event' at the runoffs each year. I realise it's at mid-ohio, but i don't see why it cannot be tried.

CART and SCCA had a thing going last year, I believe it was centered around the workers.

The Runoffs idea, while creative, probably couldn't happen just because of paddock space. I wouldn't like the idea personally, because it would detract from the amateur "Olympics" atmosphere.

I would LOVE to see an SCCA class support OWRS at Long Beach, though, for personal reasons! :)

I think we'll see the OWRS alliances with the Spring Training announcement. It sounded like Spring Training will feature ChampCars, Trans-Am, Toyota Atlantics and a series to be named (the new BMW series?)

That will probably be the base lineup at as many events as possible, with other series added here and there.
