Any guesses on a sponsor to go with Bruno's new colors? That looks a lot like a Pioneer red on the top, maybe with a tan Lilly stripe down the middle?

Well, the team earned it too...

Honestly, that car's not much prettier than Cra****an's ride last year.

Maybe it's a suggestion/prediction.

Forza Bruno!

For the entire team that worked on/with that car last year, anything OTHER than #1 would be a shame. It is richly deserved.

I've seen a picture of the with the decals on it. It isn't Pioneer. :D

Supposedly, the other car will have a matching paint scheme, but it will be red, black and white instead.

Is he allowed to use the #1 during the season? Even though that team won the championship last year Bruno did not. Seems to me the driver should earn the #1. Which I think he will this year.

I don't see why he couldn't if the rules allow it, but I'd think it would be bad karma, and you know how superstitious drivers are.

Yep, confirmed that it's not Pioneer.

Wow brand new sponsors for a dead series, imagine that. :p

As for #1, this is nothing new, Team Green ran #1 with Boesel after Villenueve won the championship.

The car is purple. The only other thing in the world that is that shade of purple is Barney the evil dinosour. Therefore, N-H has secured sponsorship from Barney. :p

Honestly if he gave you a clue it wouldn't do you much good. Thats not directed at you personally, its just that it maybe considered a sponsor that most people have not heard of (I certainly never did) so its almost useless to try to guess at this point.

Here's the hint (that probably won't do much.)

I wonder if they were exposed to the sport through Lilly.

That's a miserable hint, if you ask me...

And, no, I'm not a member of the club who knows who it is...

Actually, it is a very good hint. It is just like Nappy says though, you don't know them so you won't be able to guess them no matter what kind of hint is given.

Whats funny about this thread is that it appears at least 6 people posting in it know who the new sponsor is, yet not even a hint appears in threads on other sites or other site's rumour pages.

PacifiCare (http://www.pacificare.com)

N/H becomes the healthcare / insurance team if this is true (which I'm reasonably sure it is). Scary combo.

can we count the minutes before this is a "scoop" on a variety of pay per view sites?

Honestly - so what?

No one's charging for it on TF and claiming "their spies told them" and, finally, claiming "you heard it here first!"

Borders on false advertising...

Can this lead to more connections with drug companies. Big time $$$ available for advertising and sponsorship from the drug companies.

Maybe one of the big Canadian drug companies can step forward and sponsor Paul Tracy and Patrick in 2004.

Is there such a thing as a "big Canadian drug company?" (ducking for cover)

Same reason some people waste their time on other message boards, probably...

That, and if he wasn't a moderator there, he wouldn't need to be taking all that blood pressure medicine.

Seems clear to me, Lilly was going to use this sponsership to promote their new E-D drug, so the tie-in sponser must be Trojan
