I am already pumped about baseball season. First they signed Andy Pettite and now Roger Clemens.

Hometown boys coming home to play.

COOL!

Let me be the first to wish on him all the beanings he deserves.

:mad:Word.

But after he gets a few fastballs and broken bats that he has been begging for I sincerely hope he and Pettite can take the Astros to the World Series and beat Steinbrenner's Wankers if for no other reason than to see the Boss fire half his team again.

Can't wait to see to first time he has to pitch against the Mets.
Think Piazza will call for No. 1 inside on the first pitch? ;)

I just wish the Reds would be this aggresive in signing players.

these 'aggressive signings' are just brainfade on McLane's part, he'll dump half the roster in the offseason to make up for the $ he lost, rest assured.

also, looks like more road trips to Minute Maid this spring than usual!

This is Drayton's last hooray. He was going to sell the team to Tillman Fratito(sp?) of Landry's this season. Now that all the stars and moons have lined up for his best chance to be the owner of a World Series caliber team he has decided to retain the team for one more year and then put it on the auction block.

As long as they can beat the Cardinals into submission and make our office fanatic quiet, I am all for it.

Well, it didn't turn out as much of a cake walk as I had hoped for but, there is still a chance.

The NL wildcard race is going to go down to the wire.
