* The WebSearch Toolbar works only with the Internet Explorer browser. Sites frequented mainly by users of other browsers will be undercounted.

Looks like I've never been counted.

Same here Lizzerd, I reckon we could jump a few spots if they counted mozilla and netscapre viewings of OC

any of you gurus got the time to 'splain the advantages of these strange sounding deals to an old caveman?

I downloaded Mozilla, but I can't really see it's advantages ?
Some sites look weird in it also.
I think I prefer IE - am I wrong ?

Mozilla is a web browser like Internet Explorer and Netscape. Mozilla is actually the test mule for Netscape... or more appropriately, Netscape is just the Mozilla web browser loaded down with a bunch of bull-f**k. It has plenty of user friendly features such as built-in pop-up blockers, it remembers your passwords, labels junk mail, etc. If you're used to IE it may take some getting used to, but I think IE also has too much crap built into it, so I prefer Mozilla.

Check it out... http://www.mozilla.org/

I'm running the 1.6b version

Well.... you are only right if you want to view web pages that dont pass the the HTML validator (http://validator.w3.org/) I never publish a web page untill I have parsed it thru that......

Another Mozilla guy. Mozilla is/was Netscape before AOL/Warner f'd it up. Its no Mosaic but I have to stay true to my Illini roots.

OK.... will tackle this!!!

Mozilla blocks pop-ups!

Mozilla does noy allow spyware to install it-self without you knowing.

Its secure!

There are lots of other reasons.....

Believe...... Use Mozilla.... I have a policy with the companies I work with..... No IE and No Outlook.

They are way too leaky!

Mozilla Firebird.....

It took a bit of time to install all my options and such. But it is really a nice piece of kit.

Nuttin much. Firebird is their next generation browser. I don't mind using beta tests for stuff. If anything, incorporates all the main features into the new browser.

had to go looking to add stuff, and if you don't mind registry tweaking.....

All in all, its ok. If you want a no-hassle browser, use mozilla. If you want to claim yer on the cutting edge (which means, you take the chance of also being on the cutting room floor) try firebird. ;)
