Considering I got up at 6:45, it couldn't have been that great. I think I've officially reached the age that I'd rather stay home and have some friends over than go out. Had fun.

I just got up a few minutes ago. Pretty fun night with no problems what-so-ever.

We had a great party here at home! 14 adults, 14 kids. Lotsa holiday cheer, holiday food (used our brand new fondue pot - white wine/cheese, yummy yummy), and games of all varieties. Most kids fell asleep shortly after midnight, leaving the rest of us to try a new game, 'National Trash'. You draw 15 words or phrases, then make up Enquirer-type headlines to go with assigned pics - it was a hoot. Especially after a few good-for-strong microbrews. :D I won the game with, "Blind Since Birth, Alcatraz Runaway Menaces Gypsies"!!! :laugh:

The last guests left at 3:40am. We rolled out of bed around 10am this morning. And we've got enough leftover food to last until at least tomorrow. :thumbup:

A quiet New Years Eve in the Cartcanuck household. Mrs. Cartcanuck had to sing at church, so pretty quiet. New Years day was a sleepy day, and then went to see Lord of the Rings late in the afternoon.

A nice relaxing day.
