Not really a big surprise. He did what he was hired to do - teach Mario a few things about setting up and racing cars. Time for Herdez to give the 2nd car to a Mexican. Who will get the seat? Lavin? Gonzales? Diaz?

Pupo is getting old and wasn't Mexican when he was young, but you have to give him full marks for giving the team, and Dominguez, direction.

Diaz appears to me to be a driver who has shown the ocassional "flash" of brilliance which is always fun to watch. Can he develop into a consistant performer and can Herdez afford to see him through that period?
