he took it by-the-throat. think he won every stage.wrong, but he did win 13 of 18 stages

he immediately threw himself into the norwegian-fans mosh pit! :D never have seen anyone have more genuine fun with a win -- every time he wins! can't help but love the guy!

first norwegian world champ...an instant natl hero.

lots of credit goes to phil mills, too..co-drive champ, also taking his first title and doing it in his home race.

if loeb backed-off for constructors points, it wasn't by much -- but nobody was going to beat petter this wknd. that might have been some mind-games being played on citroen's part, making it known. either way, i wasn't too happy to hear about the 'team order', and it didn't seem necessary, since it was obvious peugeot wasn't going to get many points at all.

good to see makinen go out with a hard-fought podium, though it was a letdown that mcrae wasn't able get thru the last stage, in their fight.

on world rally radio, mcrae mentioned 'other avenues' again. i don't think we've heard the last of him yet, but will it be in circuit racing or eventually back to wrc?

great season..but now it's time for the fia to work their magic to make sure we don't have another one next year. :flame:

why what else would Mosley be doing in an off-season?

:flame:

it's kinda disappointing having Loeb letting off the throttle, but it's equally disappointing that Mak had a crappy season and didnt keep Subaru up in the constructor's battle along with Solberg, woulda been one sweeeeeeeet finish, and now Subbie has 7 of the last 10 Rally GB wins :D

If it was just mind games on Citreon's part, it seemed to have more of an affect on theirown drivers than anyone else. Loeb and McRae seemed slightly more than annoyed by the whole thing.
