SportsBusiness Journal in the United States is reporting that New York City officials have once again been exploring the possibility of building an open-wheel racing venue in the city to bring motor sport to the Big Apple.

I know it's more of a possibility for F1, but (to quote the Great Rumor maker), why not CART?

This MAY be possible in the 44th dimension. But in the universe we know, NO.

Maybe on Staten Island or one of the borroughs with the skyline as the backdrop, but Manhatten is too busy even on a weekend to withstand the type of limits on access that CART racing imposes.
