Those marketing mavens at GM are now having to come up with a new name for the future Buick LaCrosse in Canada. (http://www.canoe.ca/NewsStand/TorontoSun/News/2003/10/16/227176.html) Apparently the rocket scientists at GM didn't realise that LaCrosse is a French-Canadian slang term for, uh.., playing with oneself.

I was unaware of that term.

So now when I tell someone I played a lot of LaCrosse in high school, I'll be truthful on two counts? :D

[edit] Oh, the irony. I'm wearing a Crosse Club du Point Claire, Quebec t-shirt right now.

Funny that. I have a nice 3 bedroom house for sale in LaCrosse, WI. :saywhat: :gomer:

My wife did her undergrad there. After being there quite a few times, I'd say it's aptly named. ;)

I wonder if they'll rename the Canadian version to the Buick Pocket Pool.

All the 0% financing in the world can't make up for having your head up your @ss. You'd think a so called international corporation could figure these things out.
