Mika doesn't have to like it. He just has to deal with it.

Congrats to Herdez. Somewhere Tony B is smiling.

Kinda off topic here.....

But isn't the podium backwards? I mean look at the photo above.

Isn't it usually (L to R) 2nd, 1st, 3rd? Not how these three drivers, specifically, finished, but doesn't 2nd always stand on the podium to the winner's right?

I believe your correct Devilmaster!

I know Raikonen was standing to Schumachers right after the F1 Race today!

And yes I don't believe Mikka was very happy with this situation!

Maybe HE realized that the Podium Positions WERE all Discombobulated! ;)

I haven't seen the race, but Im sure confused by the results... all the front runners went out or lapped... and 2 Herdez Competion cars on top, it feels like my world has been turned upside down, so you guys can quit with the joke now ;)

Not as bad as I would if I got beat by PKR.

I wonder how many times Tony B hit God on the shoulder as they watched the last 5 laps? ;)

I'll bet he still hasn't stopped smiling.

Devilmaster,

You are correct - it should be 2, 1, 3 - but CART has always done it differently for some reason. I noticed that at Long Beach several years ago and have never liked it.

Not as bad as I would if I got beat by PKR. Still nowhere near as bad as getting beat by your own idiotcy.

Well, duh... Of course your world is upside down. Always has been. What is it about "down under" that you don't understand? :D

Back on topic, I haven't seen the race yet either. True to form, my VCR didn't do its thing, and it wasn't user error this time.

Big kudos to Herdez. The late great Tony Bettenhausen was always one of my favorites. It just goes to show that hard work, dedication, and a bit of luck can and does pay off sometimes. Good to see Mario actually win without an asterisk, too.

I'm glad Mario finally got a win that isn't being called into question. Kudos to him and Pupo, its great to finally see Team Herdez getting some results this season. I also loved seeing Mika Salo get on the podium, PKR, is the LAST TEAM I ever thought I'd see there.

I wouldn't take too much from Mika's expression. Finn's are known to be a dour bunch. BTW, I am 1/2 one.:( ;)

Looks to me like Mika was enjoying himself.
