That is funny, BUT, when you spend SO much time in medium and slow speed corners, the Atlantic car is gonna have the advantage, 'specially when you are up against such stalwarts are Boss and the future World Driving Champion, Lavin.

It also makes the point very well the ChrisB and others have made regarding the mass and dimensions of champcars needing to change to adapt to the circuits that will be faced in the future of the series rather than the past. Take 400lbs away and make the wheelbase a foot shorter and those lap times would look a lot different. Always best to use the right tool for the job.

If circuits like Miami are "the future of the series," I fear for the future of our series.

The times remind me of watching the mini's at SCCA events. The Corvettes would leave them in the straights and the minis would catch up to them as they drove thru chicanes.

I believe it's Turn 6 at Mid-Ohio where the FV's have the highest cornering speed of all the SCCA classes, including Atlantics.

Do you mean its the highest speed at that corner or that that is the fastest corner at MO and the FV's are the fastest class in that corner? (BTW, IMO, T1 is the fastest corner at MO).

Where did you here this at? I could actually see it as being true since they just slide it through the corner where other classes actually seem to slow down and turn.
