Dale Earnhardt, Jr. has been cleared to race a Talladega on Sunday.

You'd think that NASCAR might want to take better care of it's prized possesion.

Or is the presence of DE, Jr. the only thing that will keep half the butts in the stands and half the TV audience on the couch?

The answer is simple, PC.

It's been shown that sacraficing a Dale Earnhardt has proven to fatten the wallets of the France mafia in terms of media interest, sales of collectables, and certainly the touring series of "tribute" concerts.
