Even on a track that F1 races on and has FIA specs still CART has full course yellows. If this was an F1 race there would have been on local yellows. I dont get it!!

But, in F1 the car would have been done for the day, in Cart they get them going again.

F1 isn't the best at everything. CART has improved on its yellow flags, and at least they are thrown for real problems, not for imagined "debris" like the crappy league that shall remain nameless.

It was a good race today in Montreal.

F1 typically has full course yellows at Montreal, they happen almost every year.

If they had a crane in the hairpin it would have voided a few yellows. Therein lies the difference.

Well the key difference is that if someone spins out in CART they can still get back in the race. In F1, they just run out there and push the cars away from the action. CART would need to implement a similar rule, once you stall , you are out. But I dont see that happening.

Run the next formula's engines on gasoline and equip them with compressed air driven starters.

i thought it was kindof funny that when the yellow came out, varsha made comment that the "safety car" was coming out, as opposed to the "pace car".
