I'm looking for the name that you call a word that takes a part of two words when combined makes one word. Like 'Microsoft'. From the words microchip and software.

I found this site that links many word types but not the one I'm looking for.

With the example of Microsoft, it's a compound made up of two compounds, but what about a fictitious 'branding'. Such as Advanced Systems becoming Advansys. Is Advansys still a compound word or is there a name for 'made up' words from actual words?
