Larry takes a provisional at Pocono.

AJFore! is once more the slowest non-Chevy.*

*Hornish has the fastest Ford. ;)

I'm surprised that Foyt has any provisionals left!

I'll bet that has something to do with why his car is #50 this week. Maybe they can start "earning" new provisionals with a new car number.

At least with Morgan Shepard in the field, Larry doesn't have to worry about finishing 43rd.

Give ol' AJ credit for finding the loophole and driving through it. He has one left for the #14 and he's saving that for Indy when Larry fails to make the race on speed there.

Larry update: As of this writing he is 43rd in the final practice. That's right, he's slower than Morgan Shepard.

Marty Robbins and Blackie Wangerin were more competitive than this effort.

:D:D:D

Marty and Blackie both won local late model features in their day - Marty at Nashville, Blackie at Duluth. I doubt strongly that Larry the Lesser could manage that.

Update: Lightning Larry took 'er behind the wall on lap 3, sensing an engine problem. The expert crew diagnosed the problem.

Then, they replaced the loose plug wire, and sent him back out.

Meanwhile, AJFore! is the last car on the lead lap at MIS...

Thank goodness the ALMS race is on the tube. :)
