Now that the Chiefs are over we can start talking about the 2025 NFL season. :D

We here in Philly accept that most of you all weren't pulling for us as much as it was Chiefs hate.

That works for us.

I didn't watch because I couldn't stomach another Chiefs love-fest. I never bought the conspiracies but have always believed that officials are human and can't help but be affected by hype and presumptions. The Eagles show that the solution is to just crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.

Congrats!

Anyone want to brag about their draft hauls?

For too many years the Bears would draft players that disappeared a few years later. Very high profile draft choices, both QBs, Trubisky and Fields were disappointments. There seems to be some reason to expect decent results from TE Colston Loveland, but who knows? The rest of their choices? Not much of an opinion

I always reserve judgement. So much of the "draft analyst" stuff is just fantasy football. You can play scout and watch all the film you want but it's ultimately an HR decision. Unless you know how someone is going to fit on a specific team you're just guessing.

But I'm happy that the Bengals hit their biggest need positions - DE, OG, LB, and T. Lots of controversy about the picks but we'll see. The Bengals most critical change is at DC. The offense is locked and loaded. They only need to protect Burrow and put together an average defense. I'm hopeful Al Golden can do that.

Great question. On the other side of the coin, I was in Denver over the weekend so heard lots of Shedeur Sanders stuff. Today I'm reading the reasons why.:eek::eek: It almost looks like the Browns only picked him to curry favor with Deion, which might somehow come around to their benefit. Or, they simply drew the short straw.

Mostly that he skipped Green Bay so he could luxuriate in his own home but also that during the interviews, the big bosses showed him several scenarios with mistakes in them and he didn't catch the mistakes. Also, showed him HIS mistakes that he refused to own, blaming other team members for incomplete passes, etc.
