Mullen Museum to Close Forever Feb 10

From Autoweekl. :cry: This is terrible news but understandable. It was outshone by the Peterson but by far the better of the two. It was simply in a basically unreachable location and operated with nearly no advertising. I suppose it will be deluged with patrons now that the closing has been announced but I still might take a drive up there anyway.

I had never heard of it. But I wish I had visited it. Art deco cars are a favorite design of mine, especially Talbot Lago. Absolutely beautiful cars.

That's a shame. I love the art deco stuff. It sounds like they poured a lot of money into it to create a museum to preserve the collection without a lot of thought toward what it would take to sustain it. Open 10:00 am – 2:30 pm every Friday and Saturday?
