Glad I was able to stop by. Discussions of automatic pool cleaning robots and German Autobahn rules on Sundays helped break up the boredom of same race, different weekend.

I got the Wybot WY200 (https://www.amazon.com/WYBOT-High-end-Cordless-Climbing-Automatic/dp/B0BYWPWDZ1/ref=sr_1_3?crid=10KR506IDGHJ7&keywords=wybot+wy200&qid=1690185652&sprefix=wybot+wy200%2Caps%2C92&sr=8-3) It is NOT cheap ($800). But, had I known how well it would work, I would have gotten one long ago. Cleaning my pool is one of the things I hate most, and it should come in especially handy during the winter months when the pool doesn't get used much.
