After he's gone, maybe he'll get the widespread recognition he deserves. What a screw job. I'd imagine he cringes every time Werewolves Of London is played instead of one of his great songs. I do.

I consider it another great song among a lot of his great Zevon songs. The fact that some see it as a novelty hit from a one hit wonder is irksome, but if they don't recognize Zevon's sardonic humor they're better off sticking with Top 40.
