I figured I'd make one thread for the whole year since it's not everyone favorite subject.

St. Pete. As Fisher Stevens said in Short Circuit, "For the Pete of Sake." That was something to watch. :eek::eek:

My first thought was "Crapwagons really do fly." And then again. I also wondered about Helio at the back but since you have to pay somebody something to get to watch the qualies these days, that's something I never see any more.

What a messy race, glad there were no injuries. I wish they'd move to a new car, but this one sure can take a lot of contract and keep going, and has got to be the safest Indycar ever. I even like the look of the aero screen (from most angles anyway)

yeah, that was probably a lifesaver. :thumbup:

We have an old thread years ago about the first conversations about a cover or cockpit. I was very skeptical back then. I was wrong. I think at the very least the halo/aeroscreen has probably saved a couple lives from major injury, even death.
