One of the beloved racing sausages got hit by a Pittsburgh Pirate last night at Miller Park.

This is just weird. When I first heard it on the local news this morning and didn't think I heard it right. I guess truth is stranger than fiction.

I saw the replay this morning on SportCenter, it would have been funnier than hell it it hadn't been real.

The sausages managed to escape with only scraped knees from what I heard. Of course I had no idea sausages had knees.

He should have been lead off in cuffs for beating meat in front of 24000 people....its supposed to be a family atmoshphere for goodness sakes.
