These are some screenshots from a video shoot I did a few months back- a friend who's a cinematographer asked if I'd mind bombing around the hills outside of town while he filmed for a project. He just sent me these as a preview. I'm really hoping the project doesn't turn out to be a pharmaceutical ad.

It's GAV, original plates to the car. In Oregon, the first letter indicates the month of issue, the second indicates the year, and the third is just a sequence value- this decodes to July 1965, and the car's manufacture date was June 15, 1965, so it didn't hang around the lot long.

Yeah, it's my car, still my daily driver. I bought it back in '85 when I was in college and never got rid of it. The only way I could swing the price at the time was with a joint loan with my girlfriend, which logically meant that I oughta propose to her. 36 years later and I still have the car and the wife. I put another 200k+ miles on the car over the years, probably more on the wife.
