IMSA moves its Monterey race date from April to September as well so that their teams do not have to do two California trips.

IMSA Monterey Sep 12th
Indycar Monterey Sep 19th
Indycar/IMSA Long Beach Sep 26th

Great move I think. It was never going to happen in April given the current situation in California. (P.S. don't look at their numbers from yesterday)

By September everyone who wants it should have had access to the vaccines, making it much more likely.
