This interests me from 2 points:

1) Although there is the fraternity of F1, I can't think of any other time a team would do something like this; and with that thought:

2) Zak Brown is nearing 5 years of taking over McLaren from Ron Dennis. They seem to be on a upward trajectory, and I suppose his leadership style is making McLaren the 'good guys' team. I think many, including myself, would have thought Zak might not have made it. He has lead with a happy go lucky style that is quite different from other principals, and it seems to be working.
