It might get off the ground. But then the organisers of V8(6) Supercars are trying to launch a rival series. We're a country of 24 million people for goodness sake.

They need to make sure it's heading in the direction of NOT being a spec series. The tub was based on a Formula Nippon Swift. Dunno if there's a GM engine comparable to the Ford that they could use.
