After Monaco, cruise, Rome... off to France.

I hadn't been to a endurance race since the Los Angeles Times Grand Prixs in the 1980's... I Arrived at track on Saturday about 6 hours before the race, fans already had their favorite spots picked out. Left that evening around 11 PM... returning in the morning.

Highlights... besides just being there? Pit walk! To see a pass for with your own eyeballs for the lead on a 8.469 mile track at speed is not an easy thing, watching Jordan Taylor get passed by the 97 Aston Martin was a thrill... the Porsche/Toyota drama... it's not over until it's over. Helicopter ride during the race... pretty sweet stuff.

The down side... Toyota's problems, and don't go to a 24 hour race after a long extended vacation, it kicked my butt.
