I remember watching the Tonight Show the night Rickles broke his cigarette box. And the night Johnny returned and found it. That was some classic live TV. Actually I remember Rickles mostly from the Tonight Show. The Tonight Show band would always bring him on while playing this song https://www.last.fm/music/Canadian+Brass/_/La+Virgen+de+la+Macarena


I think he was actually planning on a tour this spring. I recall seeing an ad for tickets in Chicago in May, maybe.
