That's great. The Haas livery got a fair amount of criticism when it was released, but I think we're in an era - detailed by some of the items revealed in that article - where graphic designers simply aren't as free to slap paint around, so we end up getting what we get.


I liked the Haas cars last year simply because you could tell them from any camera angle. Not so for several of the other teams.

I really wish McLaren would have done orange cars all season for their 50th last year. The preseason cars from a few years back were sweet. I always liked BAR, too. Even the half and half 555/Lucky Strike livery that was outlawed.

I'm pretty sure that the 555/Lucky Strike zipper livery was actually approved. It was created because the FIA wouldn't allow the car to be run in split liveries.

Watch out next week for McLaren.... rumor is now that evil Ron Dennis is out, the orange will be back in the livery. I can't wait to see it.

Don't care what color it is. F1 cars today are flat homely... But a Retro 1970 look would be welcome regardless.
