The "energy modulating circuits" in the light sabre look a lot like something out of a '70s Radio Shack project kit. :)

Where's the Enterprise?

When my brother and I were kids, in the 1970s, he got as a gift one year a set of blueprints to the Enterprise (I think this was even before the first movie was made). I think he also had a book that was like a Jane's Fighting Ships for the Star Trek world (it also had stuff in it like schematic drawing of Tricorders, and the like)

Edit - PS, this is what I am talking about https://www.etsy.com/listing/251649153/star-trek-vintage-1975-starship?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_a-books_movies_and_music-movies&utm_custom1=562bf78b-67bb-42d3-b842-5b41edfc3dd2&gclid=CjwKEAiAkuLDBRCRguCgvITww0YSJAAHrpf-inOsVI79RrVZsRbatGuHeEKtlDjBtLp-KrIl_ldCHRoCZsTw_wcB

(by the way, when looking for the above link I see that Haynes had a manual put out for the Starship)

I still have those blueprints somewhere. We used to come to the Lazarus downtown in Columbus for our back to school shopping. The bookstore at Lazarus was a wondrous place. I'd hang around there while my sisters were in the Misses department trying on giant bell bottom jeans. Each year I'd get one thing besides school clothes I still have most of them - "Why A Duck?" Marx Brothers book, a collection of Marx Brothers radio shows, Star Ship Enterprise blue prints, and the Bob Greene book "Billion Dollar Baby" about touring with the Alice Cooper group.
