Good lord they took a nice concise bit of biology and converted it into a morass of text a hundred pages long that makes no sense to me and I did the damned research. And now I have to read it and make sure it is correct. Just ****ing kill me now and get it over with.:yuck:

Do you have to pay the lawyers to sit down and work with them? From professional experience, I will admit having to translate technical work into legal speak and back is a monumental task. I do not envy your position.

Mild hijack but it reminded me of a friend of mine who has numerous patents. Then one gets rejected by the brain trust at the Patent Office because they say the math is wrong. THEY say the math is wrong? Didn't realize advanced math degrees were required to work there. Took pages and pages to explain it enough so the examiner could get it. I feel your pain.

In other news, Apple, Inc. patented the paper bag (http://appft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PG01&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.html&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1="20160264304".PGNR.&OS=DN%2F20160264304&RS=DN%2F20160264304) last week.

Ah no, Apple patented a very specific design for what will undoubtedly turn out to be an unholy expensive and otherwise very cool paper bag...

Cuz Apple packaging:eek:

I thought that there was a patent lawyer or two on Offcamber. ??

Congrats on the Filing!
My work with Pat. Atts. has always been pretty good, strangely enough. They took my tech jargon and made it less specific.

Once it's filed, tell us about it!

Now here is a design patent that is most deserving. Probably one of the greatest things ever and yes it's just a paper bag.
